Chi Kung for Health and Meditation
Chi Kung (Qi Gong) is a Chinese method of developing of the body’s energy system. This program focuses on opening energy channels, as well as relaxing the body and mind. Core Chi Kung and Nei Kung sets are taught along with a detailed study of the important Wu Ji standing posture. Students also learn foundation breathing and meditation practices.
Chi Kung Postures
Chi Kung postures include Wu Ji, the Universal Post, and many other postures. These postures are sometimes referred to as ‘Taoist Yoga.’
Nei Kung Moving Sets
Nei Kung means internal work and we use it to refer to moving Chi Kung sets. Examples include Eight Pieces of Brocade, Pa Kua Circle Walking, and the Tai Chi Form.
Chi Kung Meditation Methods
Meditation methods include relaxation, breathing, mind-body integration, visualization, sounds, and color.
